Tourism Management is a Major of the Luiss Master in International Management at Luiss Business School
The programme allows students to receive a general managerial education paired with the specialised paths of each major. All majors start with the foundations and core concepts of Management, Economics, Marketing, and Branding with a special focus on the Italian market.
Tourism Management is a Major of the Luiss Master in International Management.
The tourism industry is expected to continue growing for the next two decades. This will inevitably lead to changes within the industry, more intense competition, and new forms of cooperation among public and private actors, as well as small companies and large international groups.
The quality of human resources will be even more important for a company’s success. It will require a variety of skills to take advantage of all the opportunities offered by new technologies, to build networks among different actors and assets, and to create complex products. The Major in Tourism Management gives students the tools to stand out in the sector.
Finalità del Master
The course trains professionals in the Tourism Industry, appealing to technical and managerial knowledge that will be able to enhance a "great potential" field especially nationwide.
The program enables graduates to undertake career paths in a wide range of organizations in the Tourism Industry, including positions such as:

La didattica del Master
The programmes is divided in 4 terms. To access each term, students are required to successfully pass exams.
> General Management and Preparatory Courses
> Core Courses
> Electives Courses
> Labs
Students begin with Preparatory Courses and then focus on the Core Courses, the Specialisation Courses and different Lab activities in order to guarantee a gradual professional and personal growth fro each student. In the final months of the programme, the Field Project will allow students to put their knowledge into practice.
The Field Project represents an opportunity for students aiming to achieve the skills acquired throughout the course. It is an essential part of the training programme.
The Field Project can take several forms:
> Company-Project work: students are coached by a company tutor during the development of tasks related to specific business scopes.
> Entrepreneurial Project: students develop a business plan supported by the Faculty.
> Research Project: on specific subject in agreement with the Faculty.
